Micon is pleased to announce that it has been retained by Magna Gold Corp. to complete a Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) on the San Francisco mine, located in Sonora, Mexico. The PFS will re-evaluate the resource model, examine potential operational improvements and develop an optimized production schedule that incorporates all currently available drill data, updated operating costs and revised gold price assumptions.
Arturo Bonillas, President and CEO of Magna, stated, “While we continue to aggressively advance our re-engineering and optimization of the San Francisco mine, the residual leach operation continues to provide high-margin gold production that has helped to bolster our balance sheet. We continue to be excited about the prospects at San Francisco and look forward to providing our shareholders and the market with an initial view of the mine’s potential in the near-term.”
