от | Окт 12, 2021

Members of the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) have committed to a goal of net zero scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050 or sooner, in line with the ambitions of the Paris Agreement. This commitment has been made in an open letter signed by the CEOs of ICMM’s 28 company members, representing around one third of the global mining industry, operating in around 650 sites in more than 50 countries.

We at Micon anticipate that the combination of innovation and collaboration will continue to enhance progress on addressing the challenges of climate change at all levels across the industry The recent commitment of ICMM members to net-zero, which provides much-needed momentum and leadership, should make a significant contribution.
